The Center for Discovery on its wooded campus in New York is seeking a Teacher Associate to assist with instructional and therapeutic interventions for students aged 5-21 with complex conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will help implement individualized routines designed by teachers and clinicians to meet sensory, behavioral, and cognitive needs.

In addition to instructional support, you will assist with personal care and meal preparation.

As a Teacher Associate, you will be responsible for facilitating instructional and therapeutic interventions for students between the ages of 5-21 with complex conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder and other medical comorbidities. The individualized daily routines are designed and supported by teachers and clinicians to meet the sensory, behavioral, and cognitive challenges the students present with.

In addition to providing helpful instructional support, you will assist with personal care, meal preparation, and other reasonably related duties as assigned by the teacher.
