Lincoln County Schools’ Catawba Springs Elementary School in Denver, NC, seeks a dual-role Teacher Assistant and Sub Bus Driver to support students and teachers. This benefit-eligible position blends instructional support with transportation duties in a 10-month, 6-hour-per-day schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid NC CDL/driver record, and ESSA-aligned qualifications. Open until filled, with competitive hourly pay.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass drug test, background check, and TB test.
• Hold an Associate’s degree or higher OR 30 semester hours OR WorkKeys passing scores.

Mansioni

• Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality instruction.
• Provide individualized and small group support to students.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, playgrounds, and on field trips.
• Assist with clerical, organizational, and instructional preparation tasks.
• Ensure student safety, discipline, and engagement in all learning environments.
• Operate a school bus to safely transport students to and from school and activities.
