Job summary

KVC Academy Columbia - Vandiver Campus in Columbia, MO is seeking a Teacher Assistant/Paraprofessional to support special education students. The role offers either part-time or full-time opportunities with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM and a starting hourly pay between $18.00 and $21.65, based on education and experience.

• Assist special education teachers in providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.

• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement IEPs.
• Participate in classroom management and behavior intervention strategies.

Requirements

Teacher Assistants are expected to apply for their substitute teaching certification within (60) days of hire. KVC Missouri will cover the costs associated with your application and certification for candidates who have completed 36 college credit hours.
