Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, DD214, or GED, and may need to meet Para-Professional standards. A flexible ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain student safety will be essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School transcript, DD214, or GED.
• Transcript showing 48 college hours or Para-Professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure activities.
• Assist with the individual goals of students.
• Support learning experiences that will assist student academic success.
• Assist in supervision of students.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain safety and welfare of students.
• Provide one-to-one assistance with academic and/or daily activities.
• Regularly required to stand, walk and bend/kneel while completing responsibilities listed previously.
• Other duties as assigned.
