The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island is seeking a Teacher Assistant for Extended Care to help provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for preschool children, guided by our program's educational goals. The Teacher Assistant for Extended Care will assist in providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can grow physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually using the educational philosophies and goals of the program as guidelines.
You work well with children of preschool age. You must be punctual, respectful, energetic, hardworking, and a team player. You will provide and ensure appropriate supervision of the children at all times. You must be able to have professional communication with parents.
$17.50 per hour
