• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.

Description: Teacher Assistant
190-day position
Salary: $21,874 base salary (based on education and teacherassistant experience)
Location: Bay Road Elementary School
Available: 2026-2027 School Year
*Negative TB test result must be on file prior to starting work
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

• Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education
• An associate degree (or higher)
• Item (1) High School Diploma or the equivalent
• AND Item (2) Ready to Work Credentials
• * WIN - Copy of WIN Assessment minimum of Level 3 certification
• * ParaPro - Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro, the state approved academic assessment
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
• Responsible To: Principal

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
