FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:
Minimum of sixty (60) academic credit hoursfrom an accredited
institution of higher education
or
An associate degree(or higher)
OR
Item(1) High School Diplomaor the equivalent
AND
Item(2) Ready to Work Credentials

* WIN- Copy of WIN Assessment minimum of Level 3 certification
or
* ParaPro - Copy of passing score (minimum 456) on ParaPro,
the state approvedacademic assessment

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide classroom teaching assistance
• Provide supervision of students at all times
• Maintain a positive classroom environment
• Provide students with daily care (e.g. toileting, diapering, feeding, etc.) as needed or required
• Adhere to district dress code policies
• Maintain required confidentiality in regard to students and school records
• Positively supports all facets of student growth and development
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds
• Perform other duties as assigned
