A Head Start Preschool Teacher Assistant supports early learning in a nurturing and safe classroom environment. As part of the teaching team, the Teacher Assistant helps create and implement lesson plans ensuring that the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework Standards and Ohio Early Learning Standards are implemented. Teacher Assistants support the overall safety and well-being of enrolled children.
Head Start Teachers Assistants must have at a minimum a CDA (Child Associate Accreditation) credential, or an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (or a closely related field). An Associate licensure through the Department of Education and Workforce is not required, but preferred.
This position is full-time with a 40 hour work week
