Missouri Valley Community Action Agency in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Teacher Assistant and Bus Monitor to support a Head Start classroom. You will assist the teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, healthy learning environment.
Essential duties include organizing materials, supervising group sessions, documenting child progress, communicating with families, and helping with transitions and screenings as needed.

The Teacher Assistant assists the Teacher in implementing and planning developmentally appropriate individual activities in a safe, healthy learning environment.
This position promotes and provides opportunities to staff to embody the agency mission which is “To Engage Communities and Coordinate Resources to Improve the Lives of People Experiencing Poverty”. Program operation is designed around the mission, vision and values of the agency to meet both program and agency strategies and goals.
High School Diploma or GED is required. Applicant must also have a valid driver's license. Must be willing to earn a Child Development Associate Credential within 18 months of hire unless have a CDA credential.
