In accordance with the provisions of Article XIV-B of the contract between the Flemington-Raritan Education Association and the Flemington-Raritan Board of Education, the following position is available:
Paraprofessional- Teacher Assistant
09/18/2026 - 06/30/2027
The Teacher Assistant assists the Classroom Teacher in routine tasks during the school day. The Teacher Assistant works cooperatively with the Teacher, the Principal or designee and Special Services Team in providing proper care and instruction for students.
Teacher Assistants: Salary $27,020 in accordance with the established FREA Salary Guide. Placement on the guide will be determined based on the provisions outlined in Article 12, Section C.1 (Teacher Assistants) of the FREA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary will be prorated based on FTE and for partial-year assignments.
Eligibility for benefits is based on length of service and full-time employment status. In accordance with the FREA Collective Bargaining Agreement, full-time staff are eligible for single coverage. Paid time off includes sick, personal, and bereavement days.
