It provides services to infants, children, and adults with developmental and related disabilities. NJID offers specialized facilities, programs,and support throughout New Jersey. We are currently recruiting for a Teacher Assistant position at Lakeview School. The position will involve working with students with developmental and related disabilities aged 3-21.

Job Responsibilities of a Teacher Assistant include:

• Assuming responsibility for the classroom in the teacher's absence and carrying out daily class instructions as planned.
• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing each student's specific daily education and therapy programs.

Job Requirements:

• NJ DOE Substitute Certification is required
• High School diploma with a minimum of sixty (60) college credits from an approved, accredited college.

Position Details:

Location: Edison County: Middlesex

Hours Per Work Week: 35 Weekly Work Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
