Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Teacher Aide to support Teachers and Assistant Teachers, ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. You will help set up and sanitize classrooms, assist with meals, and contribute to our education value proposition.

This role emphasizes learning through training provided by our education team, with opportunities to grow alongside experienced staff within North America’s second-largest for-profit childcare provider.

Qualifications

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Experience with children preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up for and clean up after breakfast, lunch, and snack.

Teacher Aides:

• Care! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
  
• Help! Supports Teachers/Assistant Teachers by setting up for, and cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, and snack. Clean and sanitize the classroom as needed.
• Engage! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Learn! Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Job Qualifications:

• Meets state licensing requirements for working in a school
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• Experience working with children in some capacity preferred
• We will train!
