Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

Position is only for the 2026-2027 School Year. Provide appropriate instruction to elementary students and ensure that the students meet the learning objectives and standards for the appropriate grade level.

SALARY CLASSIFICATION:

Salary based on experience and education level per Roane County salary schedule. Expected range: $42,880 (0 years + Bachelor's) - $75,219 (35 years + Doctorate).

EVALUATION:

Performance in this position will be evaluated by the building principal/immediate supervisor and in accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5310, and RCBOE Policy 550, Evaluation of Professional Personnel

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
