Job summary

Delta-T Group Western Penna., Inc. is seeking a Teacher to serve as the teacher of record across core subjects in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes meeting student achievement and culture goals, delivering live lessons, and managing course setup in the LMS.

The teacher will monitor progress, communicate with families, differentiate instruction, and participate in non-instructional activities. A partnering Principal will guide progress reports and data-informed adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in all core content areas and grade levels.
• Relentlessly work to meet goals related to student achievement and culture.
• Deliver highly effective live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup for each course within the Learning Management System.
• Monitor student progress in asynchronous courses and provide feedback daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student.
• Collaborate with Principal to create and deliver Progress Reports of Students.
• Review student level data to inform instructional program adjustments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Utilize research-based practices in synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
• Create a joyful, caring classroom environment and integrate culturally responsive teaching.
• Implement school-wide culture expectations and norms inside and beyond the classroom.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth.
• Incorporate 21st century technology skills into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in planning and implementing non-instructional activities such as field trips.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
