Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise invites applications for the JR104800 TD CVD/DIFF/IMPLANT Process MDE Manager position within the Films Manufacturing Development Engineering team. You will lead shift-based execution for thin films process development and wafer flow, and mentor engineers.

You will partner with process, integration, and equipment teams, ensure data quality, address customer concerns, and drive improvements using data science and AI-enabled approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience in thin films process development including CVD, PVD, or related areas.
• Demonstrated leadership in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Understanding of deposition physics, kinetics, or transport phenomena.

Responsibilities

The Films Manufacturing Development Engineering team works hands‑on in a fast-paced R&D environment to keep development moving, improve data quality, and support critical technology milestones. Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in thin films process development including CVD, PVD, or related areas
• Demonstrated leadership in a technical or manufacturing environment
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Understanding of deposition physics, kinetics, or transport phenomena

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or MS or equivalent experience with 5+ years, or BS with 10+ years of semiconductor experience
• Deep knowledge of thin film deposition and related process technologies
• Experience in shift‑based manufacturing or R&D environments
• Strong multi‑functional collaboration and mentoring experience
• Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to improve engineering workflows
