Job summary

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Social Work, through SWORPS, seeks a Coordinator for the TCSEPP to support non-custodial parents in Tennessee counties. The role involves case management, referrals, and emotional support, with travel across Rhea, Bledsoe, and Sequatchie Counties, TN.

Based in a hybrid setting, the Coordinator will build partnerships with local agencies, promote employment, and help participants achieve self-sufficiency while navigating the child support system.

Qualifications

• Two years of case management experience; degree with two more years could substitute.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile with continuous coverage.
• Ability to assess participant needs and build trusting relationships; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assess participant barriers and refer appropriately.
• Develop individual action plans and provide one-on-one support.
• Maintain participant records in TCSES, Apricot, and Excel.
• Monitor eligibility, payments, and program involvement.
• Develop partnerships with local agencies to reduce employment barriers.
• Attend interagency meetings and participate in partner meetings.
• Provide updates to Child Support staff and attorneys.
• Maintain court relationships with the Child Support system.
• Participate in job/resource fairs.
• Handle fiscal tasks like card reconciliation and travel reports.
