Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a Software Developer and Researcher for the Semiconductor Process and Device Simulator within the Calibre R&D team. The role focuses on high-performance computing, numerical algorithms, and GPU-accelerated solvers to advance semiconductor modeling.

The candidate should have expertise in C/C++, CUDA, Python, and AI/ML applications, with a PhD or MS+5+ years in related fields, and a passion for collaborative, state-of-the-art research in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• PhD (or MS + 5+ years) in CS, Applied Math, or Engineering with expertise in numerical algorithms, HPC, and AI/ML applications.
• Experience with MPI, GPU acceleration, and distributed processing.
• Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python; familiarity with Code Copilot.
• Interest in semiconductor device physics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance high-fidelity simulations for semiconductor process and device modeling.
• Collaborate with Calibre R&D to implement scalable numerical solvers.
• Contribute to high-throughput numerical simulations for advanced nodes.
