Job summary

Siemens AG's Calibre R&D team seeks a seasoned leader to drive the development of a simulation platform for semiconductor manufacturing, including process and device simulations, DTCO, and TCAD.

This role partners with industry leaders to deliver high-fidelity, high-throughput numerical simulations at advanced nodes, leveraging CUDA and AI/ML to accelerate problem solving, in a hybrid US Bay Area setting.

Qualifications

• PhD with 10+ years or MS with 15+ years in Computer Science, Applied Math, or Engineering.
• Expertise in semiconductor process integration, devices, and TCAD.
• Proficiency in C/C++, CUDA, Python; experience with AI/ML acceleration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a simulation platform for semiconductor manufacturing.
• Collaborate with industry leaders to push forward high-fidelity numerical simulations.
• Guide a team in achieving high-throughput performance at advanced technology nodes.
• Drive technical strategy across TCAD, GPU acceleration, and distributed computing.
