Job summary

South Carolina Department of Public Health seeks a registered nurse to lead TB case management in an assigned area. You will plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, coordinate with a TB Team, and ensure documentation in CARES and the EHR for surveillance and treatment statuses.

The role requires license, BLS/CPR certification within 30 days, and willingness to travel. Preferred BSN and experience with TB case management and EHR systems are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the SC Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate direct nursing care for TB patients and families.
• Direct and supervise TB Team activities and coordinate with other leads.
• Provide TB testing, counseling, and education to patients and partners.
• Maintain records and reports per agency standards; use CARES and EHR for surveillance and documentation.
