Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mobile Application Developer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of a Taxi Booking Mobile App for drivers and riders. The ideal candidate should have experience with real-time location tracking, Firebase integration, and mobile payment systems.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both Rider and Driver apps.
  
• Integrate Google Maps SDK, real-time GPS tracking, and Firebase backend.
  
• Implement user authentication, ride-matching algorithms, ride-tracking, and push notifications.
  
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless experiences.
  
• Ensure the app complies with App Store and Play Store guidelines.
  
• Write clean, modular, and scalable code following best practices.
  
• Monitor app performance, debug issues, and release timely updates.

Required Skills

• Proven experience developing mobile apps (iOS, Android, or cross-platform like Flutter/React Native).
  
• Strong understanding of mobile SDKs, API integration, and Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Realtime DB, Cloud Functions).
  
• Experience with Google Maps API, Geolocation, and routing/navigation logic.
  
• Knowledge of push notifications, real-time databases, and socket communication.
  
• Familiarity with mobile payments (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, etc.).
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred:

• Experience with Geo-fencing, Driver earnings, Trip history, and admin panel integration.
  
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  
• Prior work on taxi, delivery, or mobility-based apps is a big plus.
