Job Juncture represents a national AmLaw 200 firm seeking a Tax, Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney in Hackensack, NJ. The role offers hybrid work, exposure to high-net-worth clients, and sophisticated estate planning, tax strategy, and trust administration across multiple jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record, active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction, and 3+ years of tax, trusts and estates experience; an LL.M.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in tax, trusts and estates matters.
• LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is strongly preferred.
• Experience counseling on estate planning, trusts and estate administration; related tax considerations.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on estate, gift, and income tax planning strategies.
• Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
• Assist with probate and trust administration matters, including asset transfers and fiduciary accountings.
• Coordinate with financial advisors, accountants, and valuation professionals to implement planning strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex tax and estate issues.
• Participate in client meetings and assist in long-term planning strategies.
