Our Tax Technology and Transformation practice

Provides a wide range of services addressing various finance and tax operational challenges faced by our clients, focusing on technology, data, process, and people. As part of a global team of tax and technology professionals in 150 countries, you'll have ample opportunities to leverage and expand your experience in strategy and process consulting, data management, implementing tax software systems, and designing tax requirements for various systems to enhance our clients' tax functions.

The opportunity

As a member of the Tax Technology & Transformation practice, you'll develop innovative solutions and support relationship-building with clients. You will participate in key projects aimed at optimizing the performance of their tax functions.

Your key responsibilities

• Working on diverse projects based on client needs and your experience, including improving operational effectiveness, reviewing processes and controls, enhancing technology systems for automation and data quality, assessing risks, and designing custom tax applications.
• Collaborating with leadership on these impactful projects as an associate or senior associate.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong leadership, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to learn and operate new technology solutions, including ERP, EPM, machine learning, and AI technologies.
• Experience working with offshore teams to meet project requirements.
• Proficiency in documenting technical and business requirements, and issue prioritization.
• Interest and experience in improving finance and tax functions, with a capacity to motivate others and build meaningful client relationships.

Minimum qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least one year (associate) or three years (senior associate) of relevant experience.
• Strong interest in technology and business process applications.
• Excellent communication and business writing skills.
• Problem-solving flair and an entrepreneurial approach.
• Organizational and time management skills, with client-serving consulting experience.
• Team-oriented attitude.

Preferred experience

• Managing large, multidisciplinary projects impacting tax systems (ERP, EPM, finance transformations).
• Embedding tax requirements into financial systems (Oracle, SAP, HFM, etc.).
• Experience with custom applications and tax technology solutions (VBA, SQL Server, RPA, etc.).
