Job summary

Stradit is seeking a Tax Systems Specialist to partner with Finance, Tax and IT in New Jersey. You will configure Vertex tax components, Oracle ERP entities, and related taxpayers, while resolving AR/AP tax questions and driving tax initiatives with internal users.

The role requires at least five years in tax systems, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on Vertex experience. On-site work in Jersey City is assumed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in tax systems.
• Knowledge and experience with Vertex applications is a must have.
• Previous experience with billing systems and other tax applications is preferred.
• Experience with Oracle ERP Tax modules is beneficial.
• Familiarity with E-Invoicing is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• As part of the IT team, you will work with your users from the Tax team to support all upcoming initiatives.
• Configure tax reports, tax assist rules, tax drivers and categories within Vertex systems.
• Configure tax payers and legal entities within Vertex systems and Oracle ERP.
• Troubleshoot AR, AP, and Procurement tax related questions from users.
• Collaborate and communicate clearly to both Finance, Tax and IT members.
