Job summary

T-Mobile in Frisco, Texas seeks a Manager, Indirect Tax Technology to lead configuration and administration of Vertex O Series and related tax products across Oracle Fusion and Amdocs platforms. You will drive end-to-end project delivery, tax impact assessments, requirements, UAT, and post-production validation.

The role focuses on platform stability, knowledge continuity, and scalable tax technology transformation within the TOAST team, enabling efficient tax decisions for the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 5 years' related work experience.
• Advanced degree with 3 years' related experience acceptable.
• Experience with indirect tax (sales/use, CST) and tax technology systems.
• Hands-on with tax determination engines (Vertex O Series preferred).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP or Amdocs billing platforms in a tax technology context.
• Proficiency in SQL; cloud data environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration and maintenance of Vertex O Series and Communications Tax products, including imposition ID analysis, jurisdiction management, and transaction-level tax decision validation across Oracle Fusion and Amdocs billing platform integrations.
• Deliver enterprise project lifecycle activities including tax impact assessment, business requirements documentation, UAT coordination, and post-production validation for small to medium initiatives.
• Document Vertex configurations, integration decision history, and project lifecycle processes to build durable institutional knowledge; contribute to TOAST transformation roadmap execution and organizational resiliency planning.
• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
