Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in tax preparation or related roles.
• Knowledge of government tax laws.

• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute preparation, review, and filing of tax returns ranging from straightforward to highly complex engagements.
• Facilitate communication with clients and taxing authorities while delivering strategic tax guidance.
• Inspect tax filings and supporting documentation to confirm accuracy and completeness.
• Formulate proactive tax planning strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Assess client financial information to enhance reporting positions and optimize outcomes.
• Track legislative updates and regulatory developments impacting tax compliance.
• Uphold adherence to applicable federal, state, and local tax requirements.
• Develop junior professionals through coaching, technical review, and ongoing mentorship.
• Coordinate multiple assignments within active engagements to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Report project status and emerging client matters to senior leadership.
