Mohle Adams, a leading public accounting firm, seeks a Tax Supervisor to lead complex tax engagements and mentor staff. The role reports to the Tax Manager and involves preparing complex returns, reviewing work, and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA eligible (CPA preferred).
• 4–5+ years of tax compliance experience in public accounting with progressively more complex returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns, such as partnerships with special allocations, trust and estate returns, or multi-state returns.
• Review staff work and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and partners.
• Communicate with the client in writing or on the telephone.
• Supervise staff on smaller engagements.
• Train and develop staff; be a mentor to staff.
• Give presentations on tax issues during in-house training sessions.
• Identify issues and planning opportunities during tax return preparation.
• Research complex federal or state tax issues as needed.
• Seek ongoing skill development and training.
