WBL CPAs + Advisors is seeking a Tax Supervisor in a hybrid Atlanta, GA office. You will focus on tax planning and reviewing returns, while engaging with clients to understand their businesses and provide proactive ideas for tax optimization.

The role emphasizes detailed work, problem solving, and leadership of staff on engagements across corporate, partnership, and individual taxation, with potential exposure to international, SALT, estates, and trusts.

Qualifications

• Strong client relationship skills and ability to advise on tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and internal teams to gather information for tax returns, protests, briefs, and memoranda.
• Review tax returns prepared by staff and supervise the preparation process.
• Resolve tax issues and provide guidance to staff; escalate when needed.
• Inform management on engagement progress and flag scheduling or technical challenges.
• Provide performance feedback and training to staff; manage junior staff performance.
• Maintain working knowledge of tax code and regulations.
