• Excellent client communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance engagements for individuals and entities.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns for partnerships, S corps, C corps, trusts, and individuals.
• Review staff workpapers for accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues at federal, state, and local levels.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate risks to leadership.
• Serve as primary contact for clients and build strong relationships.
• Coordinate engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Supervise, train, and mentor Tax Seniors and Staff Accountants.
• Review staff performance and provide guidance.
• Assist managers and partners with complex matters and client presentations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and accounting standards and share updates.
• Participate in business development and expanding client relationships.
• Assist with recruiting and staff development.
