Position Overview

The Tax Supervisor will oversee the tax preparation process for individual and business tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. This role will involve managing a team of tax professionals and providing guidance on complex tax issues while maintaining high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of tax preparers and reviewers.
• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Provide technical guidance on tax matters to clients and team members.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax filings.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Assist in training new team members on tax preparation processes and best practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of individual and business tax return preparation.
• CPA eligibility is preferred and will be considered a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
