Job summary

Ritholtz Wealth Management LLC seeks a Tax Planner to join our growing tax practice. You will build and review client tax plans, assist with income tax filings for 300+ individuals, and collaborate with advisors to craft tax strategies aligned with clients’ financial goals.

This role requires 1–5 years of tax planning or tax filing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a client-focused approach in a collaborative, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of tax planning or tax filing experience.
• Experience building and reviewing client tax plans and projections.
• Ability to develop tax strategies to meet clients’ financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Building and reviewing client tax plans and projections.
• Assisting the Tax Manager with income tax filing for 300+ individuals.
• Developing experience and proficiency in income tax filing matters.
• Working with advisors to develop tax strategies to achieve clients’ financial goals.
• Ensuring that invoices are in agreement with client billing arrangements & records.
• Preparing/reviewing financial statements and reporting packages, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow; investigating variances and trends.
