Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a strategic Tax Manager to lead our tax department in Hamilton, OH, in a hybrid work setting. This role blends hands-on compliance with high-level tax planning to drive value.

You will manage preparation and review of federal/state returns, mentor a team of tax professionals, advise on M&A and international issues, and ensure ASC 740 compliance across jurisdictions while maintaining strong internal controls and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; MST preferred.
• CPA license is required.
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and multi-state tax regulations.
• Ability to translate complex tax concepts for non-tax stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of federal/state tax returns for entities and high-net-worth individuals.
• Identify and implement sophisticated tax-saving strategies while ensuring compliance.
• Recruit, train, and develop a tax professional team with regular feedback.
• Act as a key consultant on tax matters including M&A due diligence and international issues.
• Maintain tax risk profile and ensure ASC 740 compliance across jurisdictions.
