Caliber Recruiting Group partners with a growing locally owned accounting and client advisory firm in the Jacksonville, FL area seeking a Tax Senior to join the team and work closely with partners on tax planning and advisory services for diverse clients.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of public accounting experience, CPA preferred or in progress, and proficiency with tax software (CCH, Prosystem). Opportunity for growth and partner track.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred or in progress.
• 3–5 years of public accounting experience, tax-focused.
• Experience with tax planning and multi-entity tax work including trusts and estates.

Responsabilités

• Strong analytical and technical tax accounting skills with the ability to research and implement tax liability and asset protection strategies.
• Perform tax prep (minor) and tax review for partnerships, C Corps, S Corps, HNW individuals, trusts and estate entities.
• Lead and mentor tax staff; collaborate with partners and founders on complex issues and strategies for multiple clients.
• Review and supervise client engagements to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance and planning.
