Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 1–2 years of tax experience in public accounting or internship preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax compliance concepts.
• Familiarity with tax software such as CCH, GoSystem, or OneSource is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare U.S. federal and state tax returns for individuals (Form 1040 and 1041), Exempt Orgs (Form 990) partnerships (Form 1065), and corporations (Form 1120 and 1120-S)
• Assist in preparing supporting tax workpapers and income calculations
• Conduct research on federal and state tax laws to support compliance and planning strategies
• Participate in client meetings and help resolve tax-related matters
• Work with Managers and Seniors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax engagements
• Learn and apply firm standards, tools, and procedures for tax compliance
• Collaborate with team members to meet client needs and deadlines
• Contribute to a positive, team‑oriented work environment
