Intuit is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide tax preparation and advisory services at a TurboTax location in Marietta, GA. You will serve both in-person and virtual clients, helping with personal and business tax needs and connecting customers to broader Intuit services.

Qualifications

About the Role

In this role, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location, collaborating with a team of financial experts to serve both in-person and virtual clients using Intuit TurboTax products. Your main focus will be on comprehensive tax return preparation, offering expert advice, calculations, and software support. Additionally, you will connect customers with a broader team of specialists in business tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, and advisory services, ensuring a seamless experience for clients. Your ability to understand each customer's unique situation and engage with them personally is vital. Navigating tax processes can be stressful, and your role as a knowledgeable guide will greatly ease this burden, whether you're assisting with a straightforward W-2 filing or more complex scenarios involving business income and investments. Your role also includes expanding TurboTax's client base within the community. You'll attract new clients, foster long-term relationships, and enhance customer loyalty. Utilizing TurboTax marketing support, you’ll build a thriving business that uplifts both you and your community.

• Provide Tax Expertise: Offer tailored tax advice and full preparation services for TurboTax clients, managing diverse tax situations, from personal to business income, ensuring accurate deductions and planning for future tax needs.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador: Develop and grow a local customer base, identifying prospects through outreach initiatives and partnerships. Organize community events to elevate financial literacy and TurboTax's visibility.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem: Understand every client’s financial picture to connect them with appropriate Intuit solutions, fostering supportive, year-round engagement.

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or practicing attorney with significant tax preparation experience and strong knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) is required for tax filing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preparing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional software.
• Motivated to upskill in additional services, such as bookkeeping and business tax advisory.
• Open to on-site work at TurboTax offices, primarily from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday.
• Committed to completing required training and development as specified.
• Willingness to participate in advertising efforts and contribute to content creation for community resources.
• Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.

Requirements

Must reside in the United States and possess or be able to obtain necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
