Qualifications

• CPA license is required.
• 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of tax accounting principles and IRS regulations.
• Must stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Able to handle complex tasks and understand the firm's compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and sign individual, business, and other tax returns for clients.
• Coordinate tax planning and client interaction; perform special tax projects.
• Identify opportunities to maximize tax benefits for clients.
• Develop solutions and communicate them to the engagement team and client.
• Manage client relationships and billing for accounting services.
• Provide mentoring and training to employees in the tax department.
• Attend training seminars and professional development events.
