Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP in Northern California seeks a Tax Senior Manager to deliver industry-focused tax advisory and compliance for middle-market to multinational clients. This role partners with firm leadership to drive growth, mentor staff, and advise on complex tax matters.

The candidate will oversee engagement teams, manage staffing and profitability, and leverage strong client relationships to expand services across PE portfolios.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree CPA, Law license, or EA
• Eight+ years of federal tax experience
• Eight+ years supervisory experience
• Strong leadership and client service skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others with ethical judgment

Responsabilités

• Provide federal tax compliance and consulting for middle-market to multinational clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters.
• Consult on corporate & flow-through tax, ASC 740, accounting methods.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with client recommendations.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, R&D, credits/incentives.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, collections, and profitability targets.
• Network to acquire new clients, projects and revenue.
• Invest in professional development and firm-wide programs.
• Support growth and development of team members and uphold Baker Tilly values.
