Orion Placement in Florida is seeking a Tax Senior for on-site roles in Ocala or The Villages. You will prepare complex individual and business tax returns, conduct tax research, and provide planning and projections to help clients make informed decisions.

The role offers a people-focused accounting team, opportunities to mentor newer staff, direct client communication, and strong benefits. A CPA license and a Bachelor's in Accounting are required, with 3+ years of tax or public accounting

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Experience preparing complex tax returns, conducting tax research, and completing tax projections.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex individual and business tax returns with increasing independence.
• Perform tax research, planning, and projections to help clients make informed financial decisions.
• Communicate directly with clients and build trusted, long-term relationships.
• Train and support newer team members on tax processes, procedures, and firm methodology.
• Begin reviewing tax returns and tax-related work as you progress toward the next level.
• Identify additional ways our tax and accounting services can support existing clients.
• Participate in community networking and relationship-building opportunities.
• Bring forward ideas that improve our processes, client experience, and overall firm performance.
