BDO USA is seeking a Tax Senior in the Business Incentives Group to lead or support services identifying and documenting tax credits and incentives. You will prepare workplans and budgets, interview client personnel for data, and train junior staff to perform these tasks.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with experience in calculating and documenting incentives and guiding associates through project delivery.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Two or more years of experience in accounting, tax or finance (including internships), required.
• Experience in R&D or other tax consulting roles (e.g. accounting methods, 263A, FDII) preferred.
• Experience in preparing/reviewing tax provisions, corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Tax Consulting: develop long-term client relationships.
• Leads or participates in client interviews to identify and document qualifying activities and costs.
• Prepares or reviews calculations, qualified cost schedules, descriptions of qualified activities, and supporting documentation.
• Organizes workpapers to minimize revisions and meets due dates.
• Prepares or reviews final client deliverables describing analysis and results.
• Mentors BIG Interns and Associates to enable them to perform tasks.
