Qualifications

At least three years' experience in public accounting with progression in tax complexity, scope, and research.
Minimum one year experience supervising and directing the work of tax preparers.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; Master’s in taxation preferred; CPA license preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs technical tax preparation and review of all tax returns.
Delegates to tax preparers and manages assignments within budgeted time.
Advises clients with advanced technical tax skills.
Manages client service tasks and ensures timely completion.
Delegates and manages tax research projects for accuracy and efficiency.
Oversees governmental tax examinations and may represent clients before tax authorities.
Maintains familiarity with staff qualifications and reviews assignments for training needs.
Supervises tax staff and provides on-the-job training.
