Job summary

Brookside Advisors in Boulder, CO, seeks a Tax Senior or experienced Associate with 2–4 years in public accounting tax. You’ll prepare returns for individuals and entities, support planning and advisory work, and interact directly with clients.

You’ll work closely with CPAs in a small, collaborative firm, gaining exposure to varied engagements and ongoing professional development. Hybrid/remote options available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing individual and business income tax returns.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative approach.
• Willigness to take ownership of assigned work while remaining open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corps, trusts, and estates.
• Assist with tax planning, projections, and research.
• Organize and review client tax documents and follow up for completeness.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve tax matters.
• Work with senior team members to identify tax planning opportunities.
• Manage engagements, deadlines, and project status.
