Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting with increasing responsibility.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education per year.
• CPA license or progress toward license; member in good standing with AICPA if licensed.

Responsabilités

• Performs diversified accounting and tax assignments under supervision.
• Directs and instructs assistants, reviews work and directs revisions.
• Prepares and indexes working papers; verifies accuracy under GAAP.
• Prepares complicated tax returns and dissolution/liquidation returns.
• Provides tax planning ideas to supervisors and partners.
• Prepares client correspondence for Partner approval and signature; writes management letters.
