Job summary

Grassi, a leading advisory, tax and accounting firm, is seeking a Tax Senior for its Wayne, PA office. This hybrid role requires three days per week onsite and offers opportunities to manage client engagements from planning through completion.

You will supervise associates, review complex tax returns, and contribute to tax strategy while collaborating with a diverse client base across industries. Grassi supports CPA development with study assistance and a strong culture focused on work-life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; Master's in accounting or taxation preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive tax return prep and compliance experience.
• CPA license or in progress.
• Industry experience in construction, manufacturing & distribution, real estate, or financial services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax engagements from planning to budgeting and completion.
• Supervise and mentor associates and interns; provide performance feedback.
• Review returns prepared by staff; improve accuracy and savings opportunities.
• Prepare returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and foreign clients.
• Research tax matters and utilize tax software to file returns.
• Respond to IRS and other authorities inquiries.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise on strategies.
• Travel to client sites occasionally.
