Job summary

TSS, a leading NH-based advisory firm now partnered with Ascend, seeks a Tax Senior to prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and closely held businesses. You will coordinate with client support staff and contribute to strategic tax planning under senior leadership.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in public accounting, a bachelor's in accounting/finance, and CPA/EA eligibility, with a detail-oriented, ethical, team-driven approach. Hybrid work is available in NH.

Qualifications

3+ years with a public accounting firm preparing and reviewing individual and business income tax returns.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Strong attention to detail.
Integrity within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare or review individual tax returns depending on client complexity.
Review tax information supplied by the client and obtain open items if necessary.
Assist in ongoing tax planning and tax projections in accordance with firm and professional standards as directed by engagement leaders.
Communicate efficiently and effectively with our team on client issues that arise.
Research tax law updates.
Research tax issues, provide recommendations to the team, and ensure compliance with regulations.
