Responsibilities:

1. Prepare, review, and analyze fiduciary income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates, including Form 1041, Form 706, Form 706-GS(T), Form 8971, and Form 1040 for decedents.
2. Manage a book of business and supervise tax return preparation by Associate tax preparers.
3. Utilize Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and other technologies for client service delivery.
4. Communicate proactively with management regarding potential issues, contributing to resolution and enhancing the team’s tax technical skills.
5. Respond to inquiries from IRS and other authorities.
6. Stay updated on tax technical developments and data maintenance for all accounts.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum three years of recent public accounting or experience with income tax returns for trusts and estates.
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields; accounting and taxation preferred.
3. Must have or be pursuing CPA or EA licensure requirements, with a plan to complete prior to or shortly after starting.
4. Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code as it relates to trusts and estates.
5. Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; ability to manage work independently.
6. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
