Responsibilities

1. Prepare, review, and analyze fiduciary income tax returns for trusts and estates, including various IRS forms (e.g., Form 1041, Form 706, Form 8971, Form 1040 for decedents).
2. Manage a book of business and supervise tax return preparation by associates.
3. Utilize Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and other technologies for client service.
4. Proactively communicate with management about potential issues and contribute to team’s tax technical knowledge.
5. Respond to inquiries from IRS and other tax authorities.
6. Stay updated on tax technical developments and maintain data for all accounts.

Qualifications

1. Minimum three years of public accounting experience with trusts and estates tax returns.
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields; accounting/taxation preferred.
3. Must have or be pursuing CPA or EA licensure; plan to complete educational requirements prior to or shortly after start date.
4. Experience with Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and knowledge of Internal Revenue Code related to trusts and estates.
5. Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills; able to work independently and manage accounts.
6. Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
