Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax is required.
• 2+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or related roles.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam with state board educational requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities.
• Deliver exceptional client service with timely, unmatched support and cultivate relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with client management to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Take ownership of tasks by organizing workflows, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.
• Utilize technology tools effectively and pursue process improvements through innovation.
• Complete Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements to maintain proficiency.
• Support the proposal process for prospective clients by articulating Firm capabilities.
• Contribute to Forvis Mazars-sponsored publications and internal learning sessions to share knowledge.
• Represent the firm at campus recruiting events to engage top university talent.
