Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Eastern OH Tax practice, based in Canton or Akron in-office. The role centers on managing engagements, providing tailored tax advisory services, and developing a high-performing team.

You will work with individuals, C corporations, S corporations, and partnerships, delivering proactive tax solutions while growing your technical and professional skills within a national firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license or eligible to sit for CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement.
• At least 2 years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong problem-solving and client-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, supervise, and review engagements for individuals, C corps, S corps, and partnerships.
• Partner with clients to provide tailored tax advisory services and research complex issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Tax Senior Associate role:

• Prepare, supervise, and review individual, C corporation, S corporation, and partnership engagements.
• Partner with clients to provide customized tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Expand your technical and professional knowledge through greater exposure to client interactions, regular self-study, and training opportunities.
• Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.

What you will need:

• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA license (or EA for Tax positions) or are eligible to sit for the CPA exams and meet the 150-credit requirement to obtain a CPA license.
• You have at least 2 years’ experience as an associate in public accounting.
