Job summary

Blue & Co., LLC, a dynamic accounting firm in Carmel, IN, is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to lead tax engagements from our local office. The role emphasizes building client relationships while developing supervisory skills and mentoring staff.

The position focuses primarily on Construction/Real Estate clients with opportunities to gain exposure to other industries, and to advance advisory capabilities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• CPA Certification or eligible and actively pursuing certification.
• 3-6 years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm.
• Client exposure to Construction and/or Real Estate industry preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage engagements and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and manage all aspects of tax engagements.
• Prepare business and individual tax returns.
• Perform field work including complex work papers and supervise Staff Accountants.
