Job summary

Washington County in Oregon seeks a TRA Supervisor to lead the Tax Roll Administration team within the Tax Division. The role focuses on annual tax roll calculation, data entry, and maintenance of property tax accounts.

You will recruit and coach staff, coordinate with state agencies and local partners, and ensure compliance with deadlines and data integrity while delivering accurate reports.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, business administration, public administration, computer science, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible work experience in administrating computer databases and data entry; developing spreadsheets and database reports, and operational analysis including at least one (1) year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tax Roll Administration team to ensure accurate tax roll calculations and data integrity.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and external agencies to deliver timely outputs.
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff within the Tax Roll Administration group.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines and statutory requirements; generate detailed reports.
