Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a role at its franchise office in Iowa to assist with the tax interview process by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.

You will help close interviews by assembling tax returns, obtaining signatures, reviewing with clients, and completing bookkeeping procedures. Strong communication, reading and math skills, and experience with Windows-based programs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Reading and math skills are required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining required signatures, reviewing the finished product with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service
• All other duties as assigned
